Golden Pond - Monday and again today, I took advantage of perfect weather andthe wife and Idrove to the mountains for some late afternoon picture taking. I thought I'd share a couple of images with you. These were taken with my M42Super Takumar 28mm at F8. This small pond was alive with color from the afternoon sun. This is one of those places you can come back tooftenand see it differently each time - enjoy.

Aspen Glow - The second image is of a group of Aspens going through their Fall color change. The Sun made them look like they were on fire. The 28mmgives nearly the perfectfocal lengthfor this kind of shooting. Both pics were shot in raw and handheld. Today I used a tripod, the images were sharper, but thelight wasn't quite the same when I arrived. It was a little laterin the afternoon today- Bruce

Sorry everyone -our server is down for hard drive replacement. The pictures should be visible again by this evening. They estimated 6 to 20 hours on getting everyone back up again. O well, such is life in the electronic world- Bruce

Well luckily I saw them this morning before I had to leave for work, I just did not have time to comment then. Beautiful colors both in and out of the water. I can see why you keep going back to the same spot.
