Love these shots. The only time I would see something like this is at a zoo.

Also shows how sharp the "old" lenses are.

Looks like that time of the year we start ahhhhhhhhhhhhh(ing) our buddies fromt he other side of the globe.

I like the 2nd better than the first - nothing in the way. Is it a tiny bit over exposed? (Which I'm an expert at)

We found the lizard during a round of golf. Had the camera in the bag. Out of town Aussie golf courses can be a a bit like being at the zoo!

I think this fella is an "echidna". He was eating ants. He looked prickly so we didn't go too close.....

Hi Bob - I don't want to turn this into a "our water dragons are prettier than your water dragons" thread , but here is a Hornsby colourful character, and some from Canberra Botanic Gardens.
