hello i was wondering if i should get the upcoming k10d, on paper it looks liek it will sweep the floor with other competitors, i was looking at some telephoto lenses but dont know which i should go for, they are relatively cheap:

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro (Pentax AF)
Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro (Pentax AF)
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO Macro DG (Pentax AF)

thanks in advance for comments

the 75-300 APO model is the best value for money there.

Never been a fan of the wide-> telephoto zooms, and you may as well spend the extra money and get the APO model of the 70-300 sigma

Although, if you can afford it you are probably better of with something like the sigma 70-200 f/2.8, or wait for the new x-250mm f/4 pentax supersonic lens

I have the "normal" 70-300mm Sigma and am very happy with it. However, if you can get the APO version it is supposed to be even better.

Sorry - cockatiel nottaken with sigma lens.
This one is, and not too bad at 300mm.

many users have said that the 70-300mm dg is pretty soft at 300mm, but remains sharp with the apo version.
