I have some bird feeders set up in my backyard and they got kind of busy Saturday morning. So I attached the 50-200mm and took some shots from inside the house (it was a bit cold out).

Amazing shots form thie 50-200mm when you consider that there is uncoated glass in between. Great composition as well. The snow storm there is kind of intimidating

Your bluejays are very pretty! Like the pictures - your windows must be pretty clean (cleaner than ours) to get shots like that through them!

Thanks Daniel. I was pretty pleased with how they came out. The snow here was next to nothing, but Buffalo got slammed with ~ 2ft. They are about 60 mins to the west. I count us as lucky, that much snow with reasonably warm (40's and up) weather... not for me.

Thanks, mtngal. I don't do windows, so they are not super clean, but better that at the bottom where the dog presses his nose against it.
