They are good pix. But the 2nd one is stunningly beautiful. The creamy blurred out background and reflectionis almost like oil painting. The front focused subject stands out too.

Daniel, thanks. I took that one earlier in the day and really liked it, hoped it would come out as nice as it did.

No..No Steve. Not the competition but rather the available help for a Newbie like me! LOL So far I see about a 99% good quality of helpful folks here! Kinda feels like home...Uh ...that is home when little Dawg's not there!!!

I'm hoping for good weather saturday to try and get some more. The weather here has been flip flopping, nice one day bad the next.

Dawg, you wil definately find good help here. Just browsing the posts has given me lots to think about.

I agree Steve. My newbie mind is fast absorbing viewpoints and info! Just glad to have an old friend amongst the hopfully new ones I can make here! Yer doing great shots with that camera. Makes me want mine even sooner!

Shot a bunch more today Dawg. I'll be posting them in various places. Also I've been bitten by the LBA bug, just ordered another one. I this would be expensive, but.....

Buying lenses is as much a hobby as photography! And they go together well/ You've just started a new hobby...Well that's what I keep telling little Dawg anyway! Just got a Samyang 100-400mm f/5.6-7.1 yesterday! Looks new. Gotta dig out the K1000 and try it!
