If I may please post another. I am not sure what these are but they look nice.

Ira

Please note that this image is not for any consideration here (I already made my post), I just wanted to show it. Is that alright?

Oh it's ok to post multiple images, as long as they're different to what you've posted before.

JR, that second one is great. It looks like an autumn leaf in the middle of a desert!

Keep 'em coming people. It's a darn shame that the two "troll"-threads are at the top of the page...

Thanks and the funniest thing is that shot is not setup: this lonely maple leaf attracted my attention on top of viewing platform in the medieval church some 20 m/60 ft from ground, on top of the hill and all trees far below :-) Seemed like it wanted to be captured at any price not like its fellows laying quietly downstairs...

Best and happy shooting/sharing, JR

BTW shot with K100D/DA 50-200 and Skylight filter

I totally agree. I have decided to stop reading or posting in those two threads in hopes that they will eventually go way!

There are some great shots in here! I love the colors.

All these photos are outstanding! I'm glad I'm not a photo judge - how does one make a decision? Gadgetnut's water element photo is one of my favorites, but then, Ira's berries are nice. The color on Tom's photo with the blue sky is special, along with the color on JR's second one. I haven't come anywhere close to any of these yet.

Finally came across some colour today. Or maybe it is the natural look of them?

Ok...here's mine...sorry, wish it had more character but I finally was able to get outside today for the first time in a week & a half. I tore my ACL & some cartilage in my knee last week & I'm just getting to the point where I can hobble with 1 crutch so here's my entry.... found it in our birdbath this afternoon.

BTW, GREAT idea for our own monthly challenge ... just think we ought to give consideration to our members "Down Under" & elsewhere but I'm not sure how:?
