Ahh October in Florida. When the leaves on the palm trees turn....well, most are pretty much the same color they are the rest of the year. And I don't even have a Pentax. Or a DSLR. But you guys all look like you're having so much fun (seriously, awesome thread). So, I'm not letting anything stop me :

Fantastic- all the images and activity! At last this forum has activated as it should- at least in this thread! Thanks for starting it and encouraging everybody to share their experience/images/problems etc.

Best and happy shooting AND sharing, JR

There are so many special photos posted to this thead! I love Kjell's picture of feeding the ducks, Royce's maple leaf macro, Adam's Gatineau Park (in spite of the slightly tilted horizon line) - I could look at that scene for hours. Then there's the lighting in Jim's picture from Georgia and so many other wonderful pictures. This is a great theme and I love seeing how people have interpreted them all!

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place filled with great people; enough to convince me to buy a Pentax Dslr. Where abouts in FL are you located?

Very nice pictures all. Excellent work.

There aren't many leaves changing in the Phoenix area so I went on a quick road trip up to Flagstaff and this is about as colorful as it got. Doing some experimenting with frames and trying a new look. Lens: Sigma 10-20mm

All of these are incredible! Hogrider, I like your frame- it's understated and I don't think it detracts from the photo.

Wow...I love coming to this thread just to look at all of the beautiful shots! I'm glad I don't have to decide on a "winner". :?
