I pulled into the church parking lot across the street to get a better look. There were two women in a car studying the spectacle.

I got out of my car and readied my camera. The driver rolled her window down and said: "I don't believe I'll be getting out of the car."

The house is at the corner of Houston and Parker streets in Monroe, NC. These two characters might be the resurrection of the Parker Brothers (Samuel: http://www.homeofheroes.com/moh/cita...wi/parker.html) (Francis: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Parker_(judge)), for I believe this may be the house they were born in.

Good laugh for a Friday morning - thanks for sharing them. I've been noticing more and more people going all-out with Halloween decorations around Los Angeles, too.

Great shots. That house looks great. Maybe some shots at dusk/night to see the characters lit up.

Great find, I really like the display on the veranda roof.
