Looking forAF replacement for SMCA 50mm f1.7 that I currently have. I am useless at focussing accurately with this lens...

Why is it selling for up to $230 used on ebay when Adorama has it at $160 new after rebate?

Is this just due to lack of supply?

Assume these rebates are useless for non US buyers? Is thereany way round this?

Thanks,

Bob

I could not tell you, though it is not surprising to see things going on ebay for more than they can be bought elsewhere. I know many people who simply look there and never comparison shop anywhere else. I have the SMC F 50mm 1.7 and I love it. A quick froogle search also shows CambridgeWorld to have your lens for $135. I don't know if they are a good vendor or not.

Edit: My bad, the cambridge one is f1.7
