Went to an Air Show last Saturday with DS and Sigma 17-70mm and Sigma 135-400mm.

The results can be viewedina new gallery I just added, pls look at the pictureshere:
http://wheelgunner.zoto.com/galleries/airshow2006

Below are a few samples...

B17 Sentimental Journey

Smoke Trail over Runway

MIG 17

F4-U Corsair

The Wave

More Smoke

F16

Edited for Error ("Sentimental Journey" is of course a B17 not a B 25). A B 25 Mitchell was standing right next to it and I somehow mixed it up.

Those are all great, but that shot of the Mig is exceptional!

Your recent series of pix have been stunning for this forum. Congratulation. The two Sigma lens are apparently underrated optics. Can they still fly those Mig 17. Back in the Cold War days they were like killer fighters and you have portrayed it well. I had a quick look of your album. All I can say is that it is awesome. Good work there. Thanks for sharing. We need pix like that level in this forum.

Great shots. So clear and sharp. When it all comes together the results are amazing.

Awesome!

Been a while since I visited an airshow (since I was a little kid with my dad)

Seeing these makes me want to go to one right away

Thanks for all the comments, guys. I am pretty happy with the outcome of those pictures, specially considering that i was using subpar Pentax equipment. :G
