Ok since there's a limit of 10 options/poll, I can't put all the names of the people that posted something for the challenge in a poll.

So we'll have to do it this way:

Until Sunday the 5th, post the nickname of the person you would like to see as the winner of this challenge in a reply to this post. You can add a specific picture or an explanaition to your choice if you like. (please don't post the actual picture, but just put a link to it in the post. It's a matter of keeping this thread clean and easy to count)

Please don't post anything else! Making this a regular discussion thread would make it incredibly hard to count the votes, so please, post your winner and that's that.

On Monday I will count the votes and post the winner. (Next month, the winner of this month will do this)

You can look at all the entries here: http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=80

I'm having a tough time deciding - I love entries from gadgetnut, reps, nhmom, ataller and Tom Lusk. Rep's frozen leaf is awesome, but my vote goes (somewhat reluctantly, there are too many awesome picturesfor me tomake a decision!)to nhmom's lakeside view.

I don't think it's possible to pick a winner from all of these beautiful shots! I don't know enough about the technical end of it yet, so I went with the ones I like.

I like the big red close-up that Royce10 posted along with the single floater by Tom Lusk on page 5. But I think my over-all favorite is the lake scene by nhmom on page 3. http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/a...t.php?id=80903

So hard to pick from the pics posted, but out of about 6-7 choices, I will have to go with this one from Reps

For some reason this one really appeals to me. Its simplicity, the shadows....

Although all 70+ ones were great and I felt the passion of rather mild fall in them, the one I liked most was (after long debates with myself...) nhmom's one:

What amazed me was the colorplay in the reflection- much more vivid and powerful than scene itself- would like to shoot such "messy" and colorful reflection myself :-)
One thing that somehow confused me was WB- rather much photos suffered of strange colors for me- but maybe it was intentional and yes, I know where the beauty lies...

Best and happy shooting to all, JR

My vote is for Ataller's landscape scenic shot.

Runner's up are Hogrider's roadside shot. Love the framing and lighting.

Also Tom Lusk's single fallen leaf on the calm pond. Very calming.

A very tough decision but I think I must agree that this image best captures the change of season.
