Just got a used Pentax-M 50mm f1.7 lens. However, when I put it on my K110D, the "Av--" symbol flashes and the camera won't allow me to take pictures. Nothing happens when I press the shutter button down. I set it to M mode by the way. Your help is highly appreciated.

The manual is there so that you can learn about the camera first hand! Then if you have a question not covered by the manual ask away. Makes some sense yes??
