what is the website that has a listing of all of the older lenses made for pentax? I know it exists somewhere, i just can't find it!

I picked up a vivitar 400mm f5.6 on ebay last night for fifty bucks, anyone used one like it before?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...;rd=1&rd=1

Thanks for the input!

You won that? Why would the seller say that the coating of the front element is missing? Likely he meant the front cap?
Looks good deal if there is no growth there and the glass is clear.

yeah, i was alittle curious as to what he meant by that, but from the images the lens seems like it is in good condition. I'm thinking it is an older model without any kind of multi-coating on it. the seller either works for, or is adorama because thats what his email address is (@adorama.com) and they have good feedback overall (most complaints were from new ebayers complaining about shipping, or having to pay for shipping back something). hopefully i'll get it this week!

it's no f4, but f5.6 for a 400mm lens is pretty fast still - and i like using my manual lenses, so it should be a treat (i hope!)
