Must be all those dings in the front element that brings out all that detail in those white birds.

There is actually considerable risk looking at those pict from a couple of people in here.
Ok. So you like their pict and try to get the same lens if you can afford it. Turns out that when you have got the same lens you are getting no where near the pict as shown. Did I get a bad copy? Should I return it? If the guru's lens has got some dents, should I do the same thing to my lens to get same effect?
At the end of day, the photographer is the key

this is a very hard lens to use no matter what. you never know what it will do.. confine what yo use to f4 or f8
