Oops, somehow time ran through my mind at the speed of lightning- it just stuck me that TODAY is the last of November... Grabbed camera and shot some- sorry but hurry does not make great pics I know, but hope You enjoy :-)

First taken with my portrait favorite Jupiter-9 85/2.0 handheld at around f/3.5:

and another one with kit lens at f/5.6 - handheld too (my FA 50/1.4 is still hanging around somewhere...):

Thanks everyone for their input and hope to get at least some before the contest ends (it is not Dec 1st everywhere...) and best regards, JR

Reps: I like the touch with the out of focus highlights in the first shot.

Thanks Royce10 for Your kind comment! That is why I say this oldie is my favourite... the secret is very simple: it has 15 (!) aperture blades (my other best glass maximum 9 :-( )- so regardless of aperture everything OOF is round (not n-rays star). seems we have lost something with new lenses :?

Best and happy shooting, JR

A bit desperate, after deadline and "out of contest", but I had to contribute with something, didn't I?

OK everyone, seems that last month joy is over now :-)
It is time to look through all the images and select Your favorite one...
As no good ideas have not occured to me I should start a new voting thread. I'll try to evaluate the options and if nothing better strikes will start the thread with voting rules tomorrow.

Thanks for all participants and looking forward for next one, JR

Sorry if I broke the rules. I hadn't realized that. I thought I'd seen someone else had posted a "previously taken" photo. I'll read the rules more carefully next time.

Didn't mean to call you out... Sorry if it seemed like that... I'm new and I was just making sure I had the rules right.
