Thx Roy. I downloaded it and it seems to work. I was trying to edit the actual camera data (or maybe it is under Image data) for example focal length, but cannot figure out how to do that. I have a folder full of Macros where I would love to batch edit the focal length since it was not recorded.

Thx Roy, but the problem with this is, that most web pages that display Exif setting (Like DSLreports for example) always limit themselves to the basics. Like ISO, Camera, F stop and Focal length. If you add something as a comment or in any of the advanced add on fields, people already have to either download the picture and use an Exif viewer or have some type of Exif plug in installed in the browser. I bet 90% don't use either option.

Already did and played with it for a while. I don't think this program was designed to edit the actual camera/ image data, besides the copyright, add a name and change some extra info.

Something like this one has a Hex editor built in, that will allow you to edit any data, but it is not freeware.

Hi Hogrider,

Thanks for the link -- I downloaded the trial version of Power Exif Pro and it's partially crippled, apparently allowing saving the changes of only some of the fields in the trial version, but focal length is one of them. It will not allow you to change the focal length in 35mm format field though without registering.

Haven't tried to batch edit or anything else yet -- but this might be a free solution to at least one of your problems.

Scott
