It's boring not being able to take pics outdoors. But there are alternatives. Here we have some concert shots with Janne Schaffer and local musicians from last Tuesday.

A* 85 mm f1.4 @ 2.4, 1/60 sec ISO800.

And lastly my son's principal Peter Magnusson, with Janne Schaffer in the background. I only wish my principal had been like this when I went to school 35 years ago!

A* 85 mm @ 2.0, 1/125, ISO1600 (no noise reduction, what do I hear about poor high ISO performance?:blah

Thanks for looking

Kjell

Kjell,

Technically and artistically these shots are top notch. With a 200mm lens wide open , it is still sharp as ever. Absolutely against all physical constraint/odd that I can think of.

Wow. That 85mm is a nice piece of glass. Your images are so sharp and clean despite the indoor lighting and high ISO. Impressive.

You are big trouble. I mean: you post this kind of pictures while some of us are yet in our LBA early stages:-)
It is like getting espresso at 11pm. Please, stop:-)

200mm handheld, 1/30 sec??!!!! Wow! That would be impressive with the K100D, but with the DS - I'm awed by your steady hand!

These are all wonderful

(Note to self - I donot need something like the A*85mm f1.4 lens, really, I do NOT need it, though I sure do want one!).
