You are right - they aren't all terrible! In fact, they brought back memories of living in Copperas Cove, TX and watching a flock of "wild" turkeys wander through the little valley we lived in. They were fun to watch, pleasant memories. Thanks!

here's a right and left eye from a zebra. these are full frame resizes. it's head was thru the window and he wasn't happy i had no food. 70-210 @ 70 macro 1:4
i'm still processing the ok shots..

On the safari attraction at Disney's Animal Kingdom, I found that I did better turning the IS off on my Minolta 12x PnS - I think the IS attempting to steady things actually worked against me, as there's so much bumping and vibrating as you move along. The K100D IS system is probably superior, but they do say that it's not designed to work when panning or moving.

Of course, it probably does help when you're stationary but the vehicle is vibrating. Ideal is probably to flip the switch back and forth a lot depending on if you're moving or not!
