Really nice pics. I really like these birds (geese too).

Here in the city we have a lake that attracts Canadian geese during the winter (the lake is covered with them). The city provides warm water so it does not freeze all winter long. That is why they keep coming.

The residents around the lake, which is quite close to downtown, are angry due to the amount of poop they so generously "provide". You really need special boots around the area (above 32F). After many years they managed to push an ordinance to fine people feeding them (many still do - just ask my kids).

The few left during the summer make their important contribution to the chamomile in the area.

I do not live near by so I really like them:-)

Not so much now as they nearly fully grown.

This 'out of season' mallard duckling was recently rescued by the RSPCA as it was seen in the quay all on it's own.
