at that point, why not just buy a telescope and get a t-mount adapter? i have a 1250mm f13.5 telescope (i can't really be bothered getting the t-mount. how often do you need 1800mm zoom???) it cost around $200. the adapter is 30-40 i think, but i can't hand hold that and it it quite heavy, probably too heavy for my tripod.

Hi Catbells,

The picture is actually close to lifesize. It takes a 52mm drop-in filter. The other dimensions are:

Length = 21"
Diameter = 7.1"
Weight= 17.6 lbs
Min Focus = 65.6' (yeah -- over 65 FEET)

. . . but I imagine that's considered tiny for a 2000mm . . .:-)

Approx price new @ $8,800.00 so BIN is about 1/2 price. . .:shock:
