I just bought K28 f3.5 off ebay, on stan's page it's said it's best 28mm pentax made followed by FA 28. it's quite rare and costed me 57 pounds with delivery (around 95$). hope it will be good, if weather permits I try it next weekend.

thanks for your advices

Greg - I had an M42, 28mm-f3.5 thatI used all this year and it was super sharp. I am sure the one you bought will be the same. The only reason I traded was so I could get it in a K-mount and thus focus wide open all the time. I ended up with the f2.8, but the f3.5 is just as sharp or even sharper. Like I said earlier, a very nice prime lens to have available in the bag- Bruce

my wide angles are covered by three lenses:

Kit 18-50mm sigma

Zenitar 16mm fisheye (its really not that fishy on the pentax dslr, if you position your horizon right, plus you can defish it)

Takumar 28mm f3.5 (more of a normal angle than a wide, but so sharp)

My secret weapon , that I just purchased two days ago for wides .... is...

Pentax P30 film body for a grand total of $50AUD

with a film body all my vintage primes have effectively two focal lengths, 1x and 1.5x

i cant wait to see how the zenitar will look when viewed thru full frame !
