it's very nice weather today but cold so I stayed at home, wanted to try something different. Sigma 50mm macro, M mode external flash, f5.6. what do you think?

sharp, sharp, sharp

well my reflection is there. it's this blue streak at the end of the tap

lens is sharp, I tried some test shots of flower petals at 1:1 and I could see their texture. it's the older lens with manual focus. but I didn't know that minimum focus distance is given from sensor not from the front element. I'd like it to focus 1:1 a bit further away than it actually does, but it's fine piece of glass.
