Ok this rounds up the last of my photos from this weekend. I had to try out the macro feature of this lens. The longer working distance (compared to my 18-55 kit lens) was much appreciated when trying to get close enough to a skittish subject to fill the frame.

Tv=1/3000, Av=6.7, Ec=0, Iso=800

Tv=1/1500, Av=6.7, Ec=0, Iso=800

Tv=1/500, Av=8, Ec=0, Iso=400

Tv=1/500, Av=8, Ec=0, Iso=400

Tv=1/350, Av=8, Ec=0, Iso=400

Tv=1/350, Av=8, Ec=0, Iso=400

Not bad macro, from a non-macro dedicated lens.

Love your butterflies - looks like that lens is a "keeper."
