Anyone know what the " marks are for on the LCD display between the aperture and ss display? They come and go in the viewfinder display as well. I could not find any mention of them in the manual, except they are shown in the total display picture along with everything else.

It means "seconds" and is to help you discern between fractional second shutter speeds and second shutter speeds. Example: 25 is actually 1/25 of a second and 25" is a full 25 seconds.
