Hi All.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Been reading through all the flash related threads as I'm getting my flash on Saturday (500 DG Super) :|

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"There was a lot of homemade diffusers shown etc. Guys mentioned that some are getting over or under exposure when using/not using (can't remember which order) a diffuser. This bring me to my question. When I'm pickung up my flash, should I look into getting a omni bounce? What should I keep in mind (setting exp) if I should get one?

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Any tips/comment will be greatly appreciated.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Thanks, Jacques

Looks like the forum doesn't like HTML very much!

I like this one, as well as friends that do very high end weddings use it.

I use a stofen omni bounce on my Sigma 500 DG Super. Typically I compensate by +.5 and it works just fine.

Same here, but I normally use +1.0

I have used the Light Sphere (cloud version) and the Stofen Omni Bounce. The Light Sphere is a bit better, but physically much larger, and more expensive. So I usually end up using the Stofen Omni Biunce most of the time.

They are using the Cloud version for softer light in wedding photos.
