If I already had a K-mount digital, then I probably would have asked for some longer glass than I have already. For the kind of shots I take, A 500 MM lens would come in handy every once in a while.

As it is, I've asked for the K10D to replace my Olympus E10. That will let me organize my traveling cammera gear in a bit more sane manner. I will actually have room for the most commonly used K-mount glass in the case now, along with both film and digital boides.

Christmas camer early for me this year, well atleast presents for myself.

I couldn't help but to buy the Sigma 24-70 EX DG f/2.8 Lens from adorama for $300. It was a demo item so it was marked down. It came in and the lens was as good as new. The lens was bigger then I expected (82mm) but I am very happy with it.

The other present for myself is the Pentax FA 50mm f/1.4. I ordered this about the same time as the sigma but adorama was sold out before they could ship it to me. I left my name on the waiting list and today I just got the email along with the tracking number for the lens. It should be here next friday.

This was about $500, worth of lens for myself so I should be happy with my own Christmas presents. Now I just got to figure out how I am going to get money to buy presents for others since I spent it all on myself.
