I like the mood of the second one and the color of the third.

Welcome!

You certainly got my attention with your pictures. Love them all, but especially the first and third ones, and taken with the kit lens. Here I had just convinced myself to tell my hubby not to get me the K10D for Christmas because it isn't that big of a jump from the K100D, but then you go and post those awesome examples! Definitely gave me camera envy, and now I'm starting to think about how to frame an ebay ad for a DS. Wonder if it would be worth it to get it professionally cleaned before selling it- there's dust on the viewfinder that's annoying, though the sensor is fine.

Welcome, Jim. You're new to the K10D, but your posted pictures clearly show that you're no newbie to photography. Very nice shots!

Real neat shots Jim.

What's the plan for larger zoom or straight 400mm and will you be sticking with genuine Pentax lenses or are you like me with heaps of other brand PK,PKA and PKAF lenses.Cosina,Tokina,Vivitar and Sigma LOL.

I also have a few genuine Pentax PK lenses.

Nice shots, really like the first one.

Welcome to the world of pentax.

Don't knock the kit lens it performs quite well 'specially when it's stopped down. You can't beat pentax lenses for colour or dealing with flare. Try out some of the old manual lenses from the M and A series and you'll see what I mean.

Morning Jim, On Monday they are suppose to change my wish list to a order. I expect I should have my K10D and lenses around the middle of December.
