Sorry if this has been asked, but I can't find an answer either on the forum nor the manual ( yes I did have a read ).

My question - I'm about to purchase the k100 but would like to know if setting the image tone to natural in the camera settings this getss applied to the portrait, sports, landscape etc modes? I understand it doesn't apply to the incamera scene modes.

My understanding is that the camera will be in bright as long as you use any of the scene settings, regardless of whether you use auto, landscape, scn etc. The manual says "Setting cannot be changed in Picture mode and SCN mode. Setting is fixed to (bright)."

I always use either P if I want the camera to do the figuring, or Av with an occasional Tv thrown in depending on circumstances, or M if I'm using manual lenses. Natural is available in all of these modes.
