Hello, Jim,

Love the way you caught the "attitude" in number 6.

Regards, Lawrence

Hi Royce, I appreciate your "2 cents", without other peoples opinions it would be difficult to improve! :-) Jim

Daniel, That was a super nice comment, and I really appreciate it ! This was the first time I used that lens and it will take a few outtings to get used to it so hopefully the pictures will improve as I progress. :-) Jim

Thanks Poul. So far I really like the camera. I've only had it since last Friday and it will take a little more time to become more familiar with it, but at this stage I'm 100% satisfied ! I would highly recommend it. Jim

Thanks Nznhut. Regarding the lens, got it yesterday and the posted pictures were the first I had taken with it. My first impressions are that it's a solid well built lens and seems to be very smooth and easy to use. I think the only con that I can think of is that at 300mm zoom it extents several inches out, (like most zooms!). When I was using the Panasonic FZ30 it's 12x zoom was all done internally so the lens remained one length at all times! Would love to have that type of lens on this camera. Not that the lens extending out is bad, it's just that I got spoiled by the Leica 12x non-extending lens. Give me a couple of more weeks with this lens and camera and I will have completely forgotten the other one! :-) Jim

Thanks for the comments Rudy! Regarding the snow and ice......no thanks! I'm originally from Flint so I know all about that cold, nasty weather! :-) Jim
