i couldn't find the old thread so here it is again..

how many of you hate the black background?? this one..

and did you know you have 2 other options to display. this is one of the others.. a lot easier on the eyes..

Yes &No. Not all text colours show up too well on the light background - come to think of, neither does black on the default colour.

That aside,'shades' is my preferred setting. Perhaps we could get Steve to use a gif file for his logo to hide the black background.

i know i hated the 'shades' blk back ground. i posted this because there are so many new people here that may not know they have options..

I am a part of over 20 different message board and about 15 of them are defualt black background with white or other light color letters. Personally it hurts my eyes if I use the defualt background when I switch from a dark screen to a light screen. So I tend to change all of them to the light background instead. The light background makes it a lot easier on my eyes.

We all know that "other" digital camera message board that has black background with yellow lettering. It is a really good board, but I hate the fact that you can't change the background color.

oddly enough i find light backgrounds hurt my eyes
and so i use the black background
i have tried the others previously, but went back to black
and photos look nice against black
