Can I use a tamron 1.4x TC with a sigma lens?

royca,

i've had a number of people recommend the tamron 1.4x.. 70usd at B&H. it's the least expensive there than anywhere else. i've never had much luck with 2x TCs but i've got the tamron 2x and i'm fairly pleased with it. people have also said to stay away from the sigmas.

yes

but you might try the sigma 1.4x but check to see if it's been optimized for your lens. some are.
