held last weekend (7.12 - 10.12)
a few shots taken with my ist ds
using either a sigma 18-50mm lens
until it dawned on me i was only using it at 50
so i swapped it for my Pentak f1.7 50mm lens
about 4 photos before i left
ooppsss

50mm seems a bit short... You must have been really close. Very nice shots... Who said Pentax doesn't do sports?

Next time someone in the "what camera" topic posts that Pentax doesn't do sports, post that second one. All of these are really awesome!

thanks guys
sorry for the delay its been a busy week

i was reasonably close
i guess 10 - 20 metres
but i also cropped some of the wasted blue sky off
i like to allow a bit just to make sure i get the whole subject in shot
i sure like the results my Pentax gave me
sports camera or not
if any one comes across a topic of Pentax doesnt do sport you have my permission to show one of these shots
