Some guy on a belgian auction site is offering this one with a K2. Claimed to be a 300mm

I don't think he knows much about it, as he only mentiones the focal length, which is why I could strike a very good deal out of this. Just hope it's a K-mount...

I like the fact that it has a tripod collar.

Does anyone know which lens this is? My guess would be a super-takumar, but I didnt find anything on dimitriov and stan's has no images...

It looks like my M42 300mm SMC Pentax f/4 lens I use to have. It was very sharp, had great contrast and was hand holdable even though it did have a tripod mount.

KEH has the non SMC version for $172

He said he got an offer of 140€ (±170$) for it...so it's too expensive for me

It was the screw mount version with adapter

It is a great lens, but the M* and A* versions are sharper. Since KEH wants $172 for the non SMC coated version, $170 would be a great price for the lens.

Yeah I'm not saying it's a bad price (it's the SMC version btw), I'm just saying it's more than I was willing to spend

I just like to keep on the lookout for these older Pentax lenses, as over here in Belgium people often underestimate the value of them.
