The shots I've seen so far taken with the 70/300 Tamron have all been first rate.

As I am expecting mine late January 2 Questions.

1) Were these taken with the Tamron 70/300 Macro f4-F5.6 lens?

2) Any focussing problems or other concerns about this lens?

Responses from anyone much appreciated.

Thanks:Ian Mc.

Hi Ian,

Yes, the lens I have is the Tamron 70-300 f4-f5.6 w/macro switch. The shots I posted above were taken indoors (with lousy indoor lighting) at over 90 feet away. Obviously anything shot outdoors is going to look a lot better. I am extremely happy with this lens. I haven't experienced any problems with it and it seems to perform quite well. As I said above, I don't think you can beat it for $150. As a matter of fact, I think you would probably have to spend a lot more to beat it. Good luck with yours...I think you'll like it!
