Hello,
I was using the Sigma 70-300 APO lens with the Vivatar 2x Tele Convetor at full zoom.
So the Sigma's Focal Length In 35mm Film was 450 and with the convetor it becomes 900.
I am new to this camera jargon, should I have just said the focal length was 900 ? What is the correct way ?

Rodney

No, you should have said that the focal length was 600 mm, because that is what it was. The "900 mm" is only valid if you want to compare angle of view with someone using a film body (or a C*n*n full frame DSLR). Few on this forum does that!

Nice capture, must have been hard at 900mm.

It's properly focused, but the bird could use some sharpening it lost with the TC...(selective, so the whole image doesnt get oversharpened)

If you allow me (I let PS do the color correction too)

Thankyou TDN, you made it look so more better.

I was lucky to get this shot at 600 mm
