i meant indoor*

couple domestic pets & the 50mm 1.4

my feline on a countertop. he's eyeing the pineapple to the left.



a friend's puppy. in it's own sweater and his owner's. still, the thing was shivering in the cold like crazy. the only shot where his shivering wasn't evident.

Black fur and white feathers seem to be particularly challenging to photograph, I think you did well with your cat.

thanks. and yes. having taken pictures of this cat before, i have come to notice that the black fur either 1) gives the camera nothing to focus on causing continuous searching or 2) makes the camera think the environment is darker than it actually is and forces a longer shutter (when in Av mode). not good with an active cat.
