Shot these yesterday after our latest storm went by...we got 6 inches of rain in our area (I live against the local mountains), and it looked like Ark time again, but as fast as you could say Bob's your uncle, it ended and a bit of sun came out.......cheers....Don

Got lots of Chickadee's around here too, but the sun once again is gone.

Like the Otter shot.

Like the shot of the otter too. Good view of it's face and it's well lit. Is that a fresh water otter? I think the only otters we have around here live up north by monterey in the ocean.

I will be in Monterey next Monday and if the sun shines I will be taking shots of Sea Otters in the bay.

I have some work to do also, but that can be done at night, so the day is for playing with my K10D in CA. You just have to get your priorities straight when you get to be my age.

I have fresh watter otters here, but rarely see them in the winter!

Love the otter, but all of them are very good.

Tom - your best weather sounds like Monday and Tuesday. They are talking about rain/snow again later on next week (not happy - I have plans for that weekend!). It's still a question mark for how far as how much/when and how far south it gets, but they are talking about possibly widespread rain for SoCal.
