Iam very intrigued by this item but it seems highly over-priced to me. I have seen a few less expensive versions, but I don't know if they would work as well. I shoot a lot of indoor photos and I hate the auto white balance on my K100D. Sometimes the custom settings are pretty good, but I almost always have better luck with manual white balance. This product seems like it would make that setting much easier. Anyone have any experience with the actual Expodisc or one of the copy cat items?

I used to own one, and used it a lot when I had my Panasonic FZ20, and it worked very well. Helped in color accuracy a lot. However, sold it when I sold the Panny, so couldn't say how well it works with the Pentax DSLR's

Hi,

You can also use a WHITE COFFEE FILTER if you don't want to spend the bucks for the EXPO DISK. If you have a WHITE top from a Pringle can that will also work.

Rudy (The Cheap One) lol...
