I just uploaded a few photos from some of our Christmas markets over here. The non-Christmassy dinosaur machine just happened to be working up in Stuttgart in the market area. http://picasaweb.google.com/glenn2sh...stmasMarkets06

Nice shots Glenn, although a little on the dark side for my liking.

Did you stay and watch the guy carving with a chainsaw? They really do some fabulous work.

Darren,

I did stay and watch for a while. It turns out he was part of a wood carving team. I imagine they have competitions. Thanks for the tip on the pix being dark. I use a laptop and am not always sure about the angle of the screen. I will be getting a desktop soon so I should be able to fix that problem. Have a great day.

I know what you mean about figuring out things on a laptop's monitor. My laptop is my main computer, and when I'm at home I have it looked up to a 19" flat screen monitor - works quite well.

I like your photos. I had no idea that the wood carvers used chain saws!
