come on, is noone going to figure out how I did that?

P.S.: I did not alter the egg in any way. Didnt even boil or empty it.
(ok afterwards it went into an omelet, but that doesnt count )

Tom,

Perhaps you held the egg in place with one finger, got the camera in place and focused, let go of the egg and fired the camera at the same time and after several tries got the picture with your finger out of the way and before the egg fell over?

Very creative! I imagine a spot of "super" glue might have held it in place??? Nice one--good lighting as well! Jay

my guess is that you balanced the egg on a pinch of salt for assistance, then once it was balanced on the salt, you carefully blew away the excess salt, leaving only the grains that were supporting the egg.
