Took the baby out for a stroll on saturday. Here are some shots.

Parking garage lighting.

Fountain

Freaky manequin head on a tripod. This belongs to a vendor who was selling some sort of hair curling product.

This smc-f 50mm f1.7 lens is spoiling me with it's sharpness.

The killer.

Turtle fountain.

We later headed out to venice beach. At this point I switched to my smc-da 18-55mm and tried some more street photography. I'm thinking that the smc-da 50-200mm would probably be a great street photography lens. Good reach and sharpness, but small package.

Sidewalk surfer.

Statue man. You drop some money into his basket and he will come to life before your eyes.

This man was building a sandcastle dragon on the boardwalk.

Always enjoy your posts. You sure have a great eye for taking seemingly ordinary subjects and making art out of them. Very nice as always! Jay

Royce, these are all very good, a lovely slice of life.
That smc-f 50mm 1.7 lens is so sharp.
The Killer is so cool and I am a Dragon fan, it is amazing what people can make out of sand.
The fountains are my favourites, the capture of the waters is beautiful.

Sharp, crisp, clear maybe a better way to say it is Superduppertastic series.

Excellent photos Royce!

you always manage to make them so sharp and clear. Makes mine pale (literally) by comparison.
