Poker Hand Bald Eagles

Very cold again here in Chama, New Mexico. 5 degrees and fog. When I found these 3 eagles sitting together in the snag I thought to myself "A Poker Hand Of Eagles" 3 of a kind.

As the sun was starting to burn off the fog

Where they were with a insert of a closer look at them

A pretty good poker hand is 3 of a kind

About 20 miles from the lake a eagle by himself

Another one by himself. A little frost left on the tree

dave, thank you for the nice comment and for looking. My favorite times are when I am in the outdoors so I am pretty lucky to be able to get outdoors pretty often.

Man do I envy you having so many eagles to shoot. We have some mating pairs here in Ohio, but they are rare and spread out. I am happy they seem to be doing well and every year there are more. This spring I hope to search out some nesting sites to try my hand at getting some good pics. Nice work and keep them coming. I can never see too many pics of our National symbol.

Number 4 must be very special, as it is taken at 20 miles!! What a great lens! LOL

Just joking - great shots as usual.

Morning Spiritbro77, Yes I am lucky to live here. We have a lot of Wildlife available. Bald Eagles in the winter and then Osprey in the summer.
