Very unusual snowstorm Wildlife photo

1. During the 2nd day of a 3 day snow storm I found this unusual combination. Deer and elk together. In my 64 plus years is something I have never seen.

2. I don't imagine there are a lot of folks that as soon as it starts snowing hurry out to the woods to try and find animals to take pictures of.

Thanks for the nice comment Roy and for taking the time to look. I was pretty lucky durring the storm today I found elk, deer, hawk & bald eagles. I might pick the best one and send it to Pentax to show their K10D does work in weird weather.

If I lived in an area such as that Id probalby do the same thing. I love your nature photos. Very cool. I live in Ohio which ususally has a decent amount of snow fall ever year. So far we've had snow twice and nothing to speak of stuck to the ground. I guess it's el-nino or whatever but I was hopeing for some nice snow coverd landscapes to shoot and so far nothing lol.

Thanks, Roger for the great pic. And for your review of the k10d. I live in similar weather conditions in Northern Colo., so it's good to know the camera will hold up. Have you only gone to 10 degrees below? It can get colder here, whether I want to get out in it is another story!!! Michelle
