And even if a person that like me at least scanned the 200+ page manual in the first 48 hours.....

There is still a LOT OF STUFF on the K10D you have to just stumble over and play with to understand the uniqness/power of.... like the real time visual LCD WB setting, AND the ability to alter/reset ANY/ALL of the factory WB presets as well as 3 completely custom ones.

I just registered to note: this review is absolutely hillarious if you take quotes from it out of context - particularly the "photos on the Internet" one, and "feels beefy to me, not a like a toy." It was even better when I found out it was as long as a dog when fully extended.

Thanks for the laughter. I'd put one on my K10D, but I'm not sure my hands are big enough. :-)

I am sure you have realized, as we have, that Roger is atreasure-- he certainlyis no dummy. "Dumb like a fox"might bethe appropriate description.

Roger also has another great"dummies"review -- thisoneofthat "long as a dog" lens (great picture onyour link to it) is http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=80

Hi Roger,
That is a good read ... I love the hands-on down to earth approach, and anyone who sees your pictures will know it works. Very refreshing ... Thank you ... Jack
