In another thread, I mentioned I was taking pictures to test some of my lenses... and more importantly revive my ability to focus the manual focus the ones I used most in my film days.

I've also mentioned previously that I'm primarilly a railfan photographer... i.e. I take pictures of trains... I managed to catch a couple today that show something we railfans try to accomplish, a sense that the locomtoives are working, even if they aren't moving very fast. One of the ways we do that is by catching exhaust coming out of the stacks, and I managed to catch a few Monday afternoon that show this pretty well.

These were shot with a Super Albinar 80-205mm F4.5 Zoom...

At 205mm (this one is slightly out of focus):

Overall I'm happy with the results I get with this lens on the K10D, but I either need to get back the feel of manually focusing the lens and/or buy one of the Katz Eye view screens when they become available...
