Great shots. I have a Feeder in the yard and have a whole family of Cardinals that frequents it. My Big problems is the D--mned Squirrels!!! Even thought the feeder is Suppossed to be Squirrl Proof, they still found away around it.

Nice shots robar! We have a pair of Cardinals in our back yard too. I love to see the red male against the evergreens.

Phil, I never really understood why so many people complain about squirrels getting into their bird feeders. In my opinion they are more entertaining to watch then the birds! :-)

Very nice shots... I, too, enjoy watching the squirrels, but they just do not convey the color and beauty that the birds do.

I Too enjoy watching them attack the feeder, But only for so long. My ravinious Squirrels( As many as 5 at a time) will not stop eating For as long as a half hour. As long as they are hanging from the feeder the birds Will Not go Near it. I use Blackoil Sunflower seed and While not costly, I really want the birds to get it, not the squirels. Use To get Chipmunks also. But i was able To stop them using a big piece of ABS Tubing around the pole. They cannot get their small paws to grab the tube.

Phil

Try mixing Safflower seed in with your bird seed. The squirrels and grackles hate it.
