Nice quail! I see these guys sometimes when I got hiking or cycling, but they usually scurry off into the bushes by the time I have my camera out. Nice capture.

First bird in jpg



Same bird, shot with RAW/PEF (love the RAW button on the camera front) to see how they compare. What do you think?

Very nice quail - they are common in California, but I never realized how pretty they were until I took some pictures of them.

Don't see that much difference between these two pictures, but that's probably just me? I get distracted by the different view points of the pictures, and they both look good to me. When I've noticed differences between jpg and raw (I've been using raw+ recently), the differences have been slight.
