Progress report. Pretty busy this week, so I didn't get all of ther pens up for sale. I'm at about $700.00 so far and I have a few more to sell. It may be a while until I can get my K10, but I'm well on my way.

Nice collection of pens. I collect thm too, but don't have anywhere near as many as you do. Mostly Schaeffer's fountain pens,a Waterman ball point, some YAFA and a Cross or two.

Schaeffer's white dot, both fountain and ballpoint are my favourites, but I have to say my YAFA and particularly, my Waterman, are an excellent pens.

I'll be sure to do so...just as soon as I turn some more. My first pens are gone, and I cannot locate the photos that I took of them, but I plan to get back on the lathe just as soon as I can 'turn' myself (long enough) away from my K10 :-), and pick up some eye-catching stock.

After quite a bit of thought and deliberation, I have decided to go with a K100 instead of the K10. There are quite a few reasons for my decision...a few are listed below:

I don't believe I need the additional resolution for the type of photography I do;

I need other things for my hobby, like a ring flash, really good tripod, etc. The price difference between the K100 and K10 will help me acquire these accessories;

I can update in the future, but what I really need at this point is the upgraded image engine of the K100 and the anti-shake feature.

Not to mention that the K100 is lighter than the K10. Having two bodies is very convenient, especially if the controls are almost the same, like the DS/DL and the K100. I find I get a bit confused when using the K10 and the K100 at the same time.
