Well, not really...These are a few vintage pens that I will be selling to finance a K10. These are ones that I already have doubles or triples of. Hope I get lucky and sell all of them...Sorry--took the pic with my Panasonic FZ10

Yes, I've been collecting for over a decade, now. I restore and use them (I write a lot).

I have way too many pens--several hundreds of them. Collecting them gets to be kind of an obsession--just like Penatx DSLRs and Pentax glass. Anyway, I put the first group of 9 pens up for sale last night and they all sold. I'm close to $500.00, so I'm about half way to my K10D. I will be putting another group up for sale today, and I hope to bring in the rest of what I need.

Hey Rickst,

I have been a 'pen freak' since the days of my youth, and have to say that you do have a collection of very nice pens. I can fully understand why that first batch of pens sold as quickly as they did, and would venture to say that all of them should easily follow that same saleable pattern. I have just started turning pens, and already have people desiring to buy them. Though I already have the K10D (and just LOVE it, I might add) my aim is to use the proceeds, from my pen sales, to help in obtaining more Pentax equipment - maybe even that (30 Megapixel?) monster that will be out, later this year :-).

Blessings,

Nathan

Nathan--thanx for your comments and good wishes. I know a couple of people that turn pens--they have some beautiful pieces.

I have 25 more that I will put up this week--if I get the prices I'm asking I should clear about $1000.00. If they don't all sell, I'll reduce prices a bit (although my prices are very, very fair). One really nice one going up for sale is a Sheaffer Oversize Balance in Marine Green Pearl with a custom stub nib by John Mottishaw. A huge, huge signature pen.

Post some shots of some of your pens, I'm sure everyone would like to see them.
