I've been playing around with my new K100 for a few days. Since my wife doesn't like to be photographed, these two are my favourite models (my 'Pentax Posse').

Testing out SR. Handheld, 55mm, 1/20 sec. Only post-processing was 'Auto-Contrast' in Photoshop, as the photo was too dark, especially the top left.

Handheld, 1/4 second, SR on. No post-processing.

Excellent composition and sharpness on both images. I see a hint of noise on image # 2, but nothing that would keep it from being declared a winner! What kind of flash did you use (i.e. on board)?

From a 3 cat household myself, I'd say you have a good looking posse! Jay

Nice cats - the first one is my favorite. Looks like you are getting a good feel for the new camera.

I can't tell which shot I like more. The first shot is well focused and great color saturation on the green eyes. The second shot seems like a great candid...a cat sneaking around in behind the plants. Both are excellent. Welcome to the forum and I am looking forward to seeing more of your photography.
